Florida Real Estate Sales Associate Licensing Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old
- Have a high school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
- Complete our state-approved 63-hour course and pass the Course Final Exam
- Submit electronic fingerprints for a background check
- Complete a license application with DBPR
- Take and pass the State Exam

Complete the classes in our accredited 63 hour Pre-Licensing Course, approved by the state of Florida.

At the end of the 63 hour Pre-Licensing Course, you must pass the End of Course Exam consisting of 100 multiple choice questions and a score of 70 to pass.

You must file an application for your license and pay the application fee with The Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) Click here for application
STEP 4: Fingerprinting
Step 3: State Application for Real Estate Licensure:
DBPR will require you to immediately get finger printed through a service provider registered with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) as part of a background check.
STEP 5: Take and Pass the State License Exam
Fast forward! Once you’ve passed the course exam, and DBPR approves your application, you become "Exam Eligible"! Now you can schedule your State of Florida Licensing Exam, again 100 multiple choice questions and a score of 75 to pass. This can be scheduled at state testing facility such as Pierson Vue.
